1960年代初頭から導入され始めたRef.1500。ロレックスにおいてフラッグシップモデルであるデイトジャストと同様のCal.1570を搭載した、一回り小型なモデルです。Ref.1500は豊富なダイヤルバリエーションがありますが、こちらは陶磁器のようなトーンの高いダイヤルを備えています。レターはブラックプリントで統一し、視認性が高く印象的です。ブレスレットはリベットブレスレットRef.7205、エンドリンク57、クラスプデイト69/2を装備しています。

Cal.1570はクロノメーター仕様のムーブメントで、1960年代半ばから1980年代後半までの長期間にわたって製造されました。ロレックス社製ムーブメントの中でも、精度と耐久性のバランスが取れた傑作ムーブメントとして、高い評価を得ています。

この時計はほとんど使用されていないミントコンディションです。ダイヤルはパーフェクトな状態で、劣化は全く見られません。このような希少なダイヤルをミントなままで提供できることを嬉しく思います。針やインデックスにくすみはなく、鏡面仕上げにより美しく輝いています。注目すべきはブレスレットで、伸びがほとんどなく、ここまでコマの詰まった状態のものは稀有です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

このようなホワイトダイヤルは、1970年前後のIWCなどのドレスウォッチに見られるものでしたが、4桁世代のロレックスでは製造数は非常に少ないと推察されます。弊社では過去にで取り扱いましたが、Ref.1500では初めてです。希少なロレックスをお探しの方にはまたとない機会となっています。

Introduced in the early 1960s, the Ref.1500 features the same Cal. 1570 as Rolex’s flagship model, the Datejust, but in a slightly smaller size. The Ref.1500 comes with a variety of dial options, and this particular model boasts a high-tone dial reminiscent of porcelain. The lettering is in black print, ensuring high legibility and making a striking impression. It is equipped with a rivet bracelet Ref.7205, end links 57, and clasp date 69/2.

The Cal.1570 is a chronometer-certified movement produced from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s. It is highly regarded for its balance of accuracy and durability, making it one of Rolex's most esteemed movements.

This watch is in near-unused mint condition. The dial is in perfect state, with no signs of deterioration. We are pleased to offer such a rare dial in mint condition. The hands and indices are free of tarnish and beautifully shine with their mirror finish. Notably, the bracelet shows minimal stretch, making it rare to find one with such tight links. It has been fully serviced by our company.

Such white dials were seen in dress watches from brands like IWC around 1970, but they are believed to be very scarce in the four-digit generation of Rolex. While we have previously handled models with such dials, this is our first with the Ref.1500. This is a rare opportunity for those seeking a unique Rolex.

The model that conveys the origin of the renowned Rolex to the present is the Oyster Perpetual. Incorporating two of Rolex's three major inventions, the "Oyster Case" and "Perpetual," the Oyster Perpetual signifies an automatic watch with a waterproof and dustproof case. This model served as the basis for later professional models like the Explorer, Submariner, and Milgauss.
