ヴィンテージロレックスの中で、プレシジョンラインはあまり高く評価されていないという印象がありますが、この時計を見る限り、それはアンフェアであることが容易に想像できます。手巻きのオイスターは薄いケースを実現し、袖口を邪魔せず、日常使いに適しています。デイトなしのオイスターはプレーンな印象で、探してみると意外に見つかりにくいものです。ダイヤルはシンプルでマットなホワイト、針は60年代中期に姿を消したアルファ型、秒針はクラシカルなブルースチール針です。王冠ロゴはフラットで、スポーティーなテイストがあり、エンジンターンドベゼルが個性を引き立てます。オイスターブレスレットはリベット式で、エンドリンク57、クラスプデイト4/65が装備されています。

手巻きキャリバー1225は、オメガの30mmキャリバーと比較すると小さく頼りない印象を受けるかもしれませんが、実際には使い勝手が良く、精度も安定しています。このサイズで精度を実現できるという点に、ロレックスの技術力が感じられます。
