This is a Perpetual Date from the year 1969 with a black matte dial featuring white printing. A distinctive feature of this year's model is the σ T SWISS T σ notation located at the bottom of the 6 o'clock position, known as the Sigma dial, indicating the use of precious metals in the indices. The hands have a two-sided facet, and the indices switch between frosted and mirrored finishes. It is equipped with the original Rolex three-link bracelet.
The Cal.1570 is a chronometer-grade movement. Produced from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s, it is highly praised for achieving a balanced blend of precision and durability among Rolex-manufactured movements.
